deadbeatniks is a musical group widely believed to exist. formed somewhere between Carrboro, NC and New Orleans, LA during a period that cannot be fully accounted for, the band has been making music together for approximately as long as they have known each other, which is a long time. their sound has been described as electro-nonsensacoustic hip-hop, audiovisual hallucinogenicomposition, and "that thing that was playing." influences include jazz, folk, the feeling of leaving a grocery store without paying, and certain plants.
