Todd McFarlane directed the animated intro and outro, while Dayton and Faris handled the live-action segments. High-speed Photo-Sonics cameras shooting thousands of frames per second captured real cookie jars and lava lamps being destroyed on a soundstage (the bullet itself was CG), and the band performed in a room with a thousand bullet holes creating the "god ray" lighting that tracks the projectile's path. It won the 2000 Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.
