Jonathan Glazer's 1995 music video debut: his own version of The Shining, a claustrophobic hotel set filled with creepy twins and unsettling tracking shots to match the paranoid trip-hop beat. Glazer has openly admitted the Kubrick influence, joking that people politely call it an homage but he probably just stole Kubrick's wallet. Tricky and 3D wrote the lyrics during a drug trip backstage at a festival, and Tricky later reused his exact lyrics on "Overcome," the opening track of his solo debut Maxinquaye.
