Before Bad Boys, Michael Bay proved his technical skills directing this seven-minute epic — a visual homage to Beauty and the Beast and The Phantom of the Opera filmed at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, with the high-contrast lighting and blue filters that would later define his Hollywood career. Model Dana Patrick lip-syncs on screen, but the female vocals belong to Lorraine Crosby; the lyrics also define exactly what "that" is. Songwriter Jim Steinman originally wanted the song to run twelve minutes, and Bay reportedly hated it at first but took the job to build his commercial reel.
