Paal Dabba's "170CM" is dance-first Tamil independent hip-hop, produced by Flameboi and released through Think Music Indie in September 2023 — a platform built to give independent Tamil artists a commercial release structure outside the film industry. The video treats itself as a world rather than a backdrop, and its kinetic, dance-led energy has spread through viral dance covers online. Paal Dabba's stage name loosely translates to "milk carton" in Tamil, a nod to his love of cold milk; he later contributed "Galatta" to the Malayalam film Aavesham (2024).
