Pink Floyd
It took 50 years for Pink Floyd's most iconic ballad to get an official video. Commissioned for the Wish You Were Here 50th-anniversary box set, director Justin Daashuur Hopkins (production company Son&Heir) mixed candid 1975 archival footage of Waters, Gilmour, Mason, and Wright — riding the tube, working at Abbey Road — with otherworldly animations styled after the Hipgnosis design aesthetic, capturing the song's themes of absence and distance by showing a version of the band that no longer exists.
